Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing clients' ECC systems and providing insight into how this differs from standard S4HANA.
  • Advising on the migration path toward S4HANA.
  • Engaging on projects (ECC6 and S4HANA) – tasks such as:
    • Running workshops presenting processes;
    • Capturing deltas between business best practice processes and standard SAP;
    • Documenting requirements in a spec and working with the technical team to deliver;
    • Executing and documenting test cycles;
    • Data migration-related activities;
    • Provide accurate status updates to the PMO.
  • Ongoing SAP functional system support. You will communicate and interact with technical teams, working with clients and colleagues to gather and analyse business requirements for configuration of SAP modules.
  • Possibly handling multiple pieces of work simultaneously, alongside ad-hoc support queries, you will be able to organise your time effectively on a daily and weekly basis, reporting and requesting assistance as required.
  • You will be skilled in providing estimates in a timely manner, providing expertise for troubleshooting and performance issues, and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • You will ensure that the quality of service delivered to G3G clients achieves the agreed service levels within financial targets whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • You may be required to work independently on the client site and provide end-user training for SAP modules.

The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to develop their understanding of the latest trends in SAP technology and has the drive to remain current in terms of development skills whilst maintaining the day-to-day operational support activities.

Essential Technical Skills and Experience
  • S4/HANA experience.
  • CVI customer vendor integration when doing ECC conversions to S/4HANA.
  • Strong SD/MM experience:
    • Proven experience in the SD and MM modules, particularly billing, master data, delivery, procurement, and pricing;
    • Excellent business process understanding in both SD/MM;
    • IDoc Setup/Processing;
    • Service Management in Procurement;
    • Workflow for Sourcing and Procurement;
    • Condition Technique;
    • Pricing;
    • Copy Control;
    • PO Release Strategy.
  • Minimum of five years experience in SAP Logistics modules with practical configuration experience in Sales & Distribution & Materials Management within S/4HANA.
  • Involved in at least one implementation Full S/4HANA implementation following SAP Activate Methodology (Public or Private cloud).
  • Understanding of the differences between SAP Public Cloud and SAP Private Cloud and how that affects the processes in SD and MM.
  • Skilled in identifying, analysing, and assisting users with business application problems in an SAP environment.
  • Able to clearly translate business requirements and issues into solutions in the SAP environment.
  • Practical configuration experience in Sales & Distribution & Materials Management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desired Knowlege
  • S/4HANA cloud experience.
  • WM/EWM/IM.
  • Production Planning experience.
  • Knowledge of Plant Maintenance / Quality Management, and their integration with other modules.
  • Working knowledge of SCE/WM.
  • Experience in providing end-user training for SAP modules.
  • Certification in an SAP Logistics module would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Project System.
  • Open Text.
  • SOLMAN/OSS Support.
  • ABAP/Debugging.
