Overview

We are looking for a client-facing FICO consultant to work with our clients to understand their business issues and processes, and to define pragmatic cost-effective solutions that will deliver value to their organisations. You will also participate at various stages of project delivery and completion, that may also include support. You would be required to perform various tasks inherent within the SAP FICO function and to ensure alignment of all SAP solutions, with respect to finance modules and integration, against our clients’ strategic goals and objectives.

It would be a distinct advantage if you possessed a finance background through accounting and had finance qualifications with one of the recognised professional bodies within the industry (i.e. CPA, CMA, CA, CGA, AICPA).

The ideal candidate will be someone with a positive can-do, get-the-job-done attitude who wants to develop their understanding of the latest trends in SAP technology and business and can articulate finance issues in finance language to finance people.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consulting expertise across the whole breadth of financial modules plus the integration points with the other non-financial modules of SAP.
• Provide guidance on business processes based upon sound understanding of key functions within finance.
• Provide business application support to existing live customers in line with agreed service levels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve FICO problems/failures for both external and internal customers updating ticket logging systems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understand current G3G “golden” SAP template finance solution and participate actively in expanding
  and refining the solution for existing and future customers.
• Design, develop and lead workshops across the lifecycle from requirement gathering through to
  confirmation of final solutions.
• Design, develop and deliver end user training.
• Maintain up to date documentation of implemented solutions (both project and support).
• Actively share knowledge with G3G consultants and continuously promote new innovative ideas that
  enhance G3G’s business.

Experience

• Deep knowledge of SAP technologies: have a thorough understanding of SAP's products and
  technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and other relevant solutions. Be able to
  assess the latest SAP financial products and provide solutions to clients based on their needs.
• Experience with cloud computing: The demand for cloud-based solutions is increasing in the market. Experience in delivering financial solutions in conjunction with cloud-based technologies.
• Industry-specific experience: Different industries have unique requirements and regulations. Have
  experience working in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and services. Be
  able to provide solutions that meet specific industry requirements.
• Strong communication skills: Be able to communicate confidently and effectively with stakeholders,
  clients, and team members.
• Continuous learning: To remain relevant in the market, must be committed to continuous learning. This includes keeping up with the latest technologies and trends in the SAP ecosystem.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years practical SAP FICO experience in both ECC and S/4HANA
• Been involved in at least 2 SAP projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with internal and external customers.
• SAP FICO implementation and support skills encompassing as a minimum, a majority of the following
  elements:
• FI - General Ledger (including New GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting,
  Banking, Financial Supply Chain Management.
• CO – Cost & Profit Centres, Internal Orders, Planning, Budgeting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis.
• Project systems.
• Key points of integration between finance and other modules: SD billing including revenue recognition, MM procurement and inventory management, HR and Payroll, Production Planning.

Desirable

• Educated to degree level.

• An SAP FICO certification and professional accounting qualification.

• Experience of S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud editions

• Good knowledge of VIM/OpenText

• Experience of Document and Reporting Compliance (ACR),

• Good understanding of SAP landscape and architecture.

• Been involved in at least 2 major SAP implementations.

About This Role

This role is for a United Kingdom based position.

The location of work is on a hybrid model of office, home and client on-sites as required to meet G3G’s business objectives.

You will be reporting to the Head of Support for your line management and HR needs and indirectly to the
finance community of practice under our UK Solution Architect.
