Building your SAP S/4HANA Migration Business Case with confidence

The UKISUG “Journey to S/4HANA” Symposium in Belfast provided an exceptional platform for SAP clients and partners in the UK and Ireland to come together and explore the exciting possibilities offered by SAP S/4HANA. G3G, in partnership with EPI-USE Labs, had the privilege of hosting a booth and delivering a presentation titled “Build Your SAP S/4HANA Migration Business Case with Confidence.” As one of the speakers, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the event and share key insights from our session.

First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to all the attendees who joined us for our presentation. Your engagement and active participation made the session truly special. Additionally, I would like to extend my appreciation to the UK & Ireland SAP User Group for organising this symposium, providing a valuable platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

During our session, Liz Morton, Account Executive at EPI-USE Labs, and I discussed the critical importance of building a solid business case for an SAP S/4HANA conversion. We addressed the challenges faced by organisations in justifying the conversion and provided guidance on leveraging the new S/4HANA system to achieve key business KPIs.

One of the key highlights of our presentation was emphasising the significance of aligning the S/4HANA conversion with the organisation’s primary business drivers and KPIs. By identifying and focusing on the most important outcomes, businesses can realise and measure the value of the project from its inception. G3G’s SAP Qualified Partner-Packaged Solution, Shift to SAP S/4HANA, along with EPI-USE Labs’ software solutions, provide the necessary information and insights to build robust business cases aligned with an organisation’s vision and future operating state.

We showcased several innovations and tools during the session, including a free pre-flight assessment to identify and mitigate project risks early on. Signavio Business Process Insights also plays a crucial role in the early stages of an SAP S/4HANA project, helping to identify process improvements that would benefit your organisation in the long term. Additionally, we highlighted the importance of working with production-like sandboxes to evaluate innovation effectively and quickly identify any existing data or configuration issues. Leveraging our functional team’s conversion experience and industry knowledge, we stressed the significance of a well-defined route to success, from developing the business case to adopting new technologies that truly benefit your organisation.

Although many of us had a few airline issues, enabling an extra night in Belfast, it is safe to say that The UKISUG “Journey to S/4HANA” Symposium in Belfast was a resounding success, thanks to the active participation and engagement of all attendees. Together, let’s continue to explore new horizons and drive innovation within our organisations.
