As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our business development efforts in the SAP ecosystem. The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping G3G’s client and partner engagement and be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and nurturing client and partner relationships. They will possess a deep understanding of SAP products and services, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving business growth targets.


Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and procurement professionals.
  • Develop Business Growth Strategies: Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the SAP market.
  • Lead Business Development: Lead the activities of SAP Business Development to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify Opportunities: Conduct research, prospecting, and analysis to identify new business opportunities, trends, and client needs.
  • Manage Partnerships: Manage and nurture our company’s strategic partnerships with SAP, EPI-USE, and EPI-USE Labs to drive business growth.
  • Manage Sales Pipeline: Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting.
  • Prepare Proposals and Presentations: With input from Solution Experts, prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to clients, showcasing the value proposition of our company’s solutions.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, consulting, and delivery, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Provide Market Insights: Work closely with the marketing organisation to identify target markets, and help refine marketing strategies to effectively reach potential clients, followed by nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
  • Track and Report Performance: Track and report key performance metrics, including sales revenue, pipeline growth, and win/loss ratios.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Understand client needs, tailor solutions, build relationships, manage expectations, and proactively include our wider organisation to solve problems.


Applicants must demonstrate a robust track record of experience vital for a rapidly expanding organisation like G3G. Leadership in driving growth necessitates a proactive, hands-on approach to engaging clients, and partners and collaborating with colleagues. Candidates should excel in crafting proposals that not only fulfill client needs but also add significant value, thereby enhancing client satisfaction and fostering advocacy.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP technologies: Have a thorough understanding of SAP's suite of products and technologies, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public & Private editions), SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Signavio, SAP AI, and other SAP applications and cloud solutions.
  • Experience with structuring SAP Deals: Including License & Subscription sizing and conducting Digital Discovery Assessments.
  • Strong network of contacts within the SAP ecosystem: C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and procurement professionals.
  • Experience in developing and executing business plans: To drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills: The ability to build rapport and trust with clients and partners.
  • Experience in managing sales pipelines:, including lead generation, qualification, closure, and forecasts.
  • Proficiency in preparing and delivering compelling proposals: and presentations to clients.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively: with internal teams, including marketing, consulting, and delivery, to support business development initiatives.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset: with a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Highly organised: with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude: towards staying updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker adept at fostering strong relationships with both partners and clients. They excel in identifying opportunities for growth within the SAP ecosystem and leverage their industry experience and deep understanding of SAP solutions to drive business expansion. With a keen focus on collaboration, innovation, and integrity, they navigate complexities to ensure value-driven solution proposals to clients, ultimately driving client retention, advocacy and repeat business.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related demonstrable field experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or service management within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets in a technology-driven environment.

This role is a United Kingdom-based position, reporting directly to the Managing Director of G3G UK. The location of work is on a hybrid model of office, home, and client on-site as required to meet G3G’s business objectives.

Requires regular in-person meetings at SAP offices in Clockhouse Place, Feltham TW14 8HD.
